The Pulaski County Day Treatment serves up to thirty students from middle school to 12th grade. Students are placed in two classes with up to fifteen students each. Student instruction is primarily based on treatment needs. After analyzing the assessment data, an Individual Plan of Instruction is formulated based on identified needs.

Students' lessons are individualized and self-paced. To the extent possible students are encouraged to obtain academic successes. After successfully earning all their treatment phases, many students are able to transition to the Pulaski County Alternative School Program or their regular school at or near grade level. Most students perceive the Pulaski County Day Treatment Program as an educational opportunity and a chance for "new beginnings".
